Job Description:
San Pasqual Fiduciary Trust Company is the only California and
Nevada-based trust company dedicated to providing trustee-only
services. We do not sell investment products, which enables us to
provide our clients with truly impartial fiduciary service. We
devote our skills, expertise, and resources to trust administration
and management. We are a small but growing firm located in Downtown
Los Angeles, California and Reno, Nevada.We are seeking someone to
join our Trust Professionals Team in our Downtown Los Angeles
office. This is a -full-time -position working with private trusts,
including components of banking, trust and estate law, and asset
management.Please note that this position has a HYBRID
office/remote schedule. It is NOT 100% remote, and employees are
expected to report to the Los Angeles office on a regular basis.
This is a new position due to company growth.Successful candidates
for this role will demonstrate their technical strengths and
contribute to our day-to-day client operations, without any
requirement for client development. The role requires great
attention to detail to comply with all policies, procedures, and
trust accounting practices.Prior knowledge of trust administration
is required. In addition, a professional demeanor with
interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain
strict confidentiality is a must. You would work as part of a team
with the administration of various trust accounts.Our Ideal

office.Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as Trust Officer on a variety of trusts to ensure each
trust is administered in accordance with applicable laws,
regulations, and the terms of the governing instrument.
- On-board new trusts including review and interpretation of
trust documents to identify any potential issues, marshalling of
assets and preparation of internal account set-up forms.
- Apply principles of the California Probate Code applicable to
trust administration and understand the tax implications of the
various kinds of trusts.
- Effectively establish and manage client relationships through
interaction with grantors and beneficiaries.
- Determine beneficiary distribution amounts and frequency and
present any discretionary distributions for Trust Committee
approval.
- Perform annual reviews of assigned trusts and evaluate the
performance of investment advisors assigned to the trusts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with attorneys, CPA's and
other professional advisors to assure clients receive quality
service and to enhance business development opportunities.
- Other duties as required.Educational and Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Emphasis in Trust Administration,Business,
Finance, Accounting, or Law preferable).
- Additional certification (i.e. JD /MBA/CTFA/CFP/CPA) strongly
preferred.
- 3-5 years of trust administration or planning experience with a
focus on exemplary customer service for high net-worth clients
($1MM+ level clientele).
- Experience with ultra-high net worth multi-generational $50MM+
families with complicated assets and sophisticated trust structures
strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with sophisticated trust and asset
structures, and providing thoughtful client solutions.Desired

court rulings).

often arise in a small office environment that may not correlate to
the candidate's technical skill set, and actively suggest
improvements to procedures and policies.
- A strong work ethic, willing to work extended hours as
needed.
- Strong preference for previous experience with ClientPoint,
TrustDesk and/or OneSource.PLEASE NOTE that we are ONLY looking for
local candidates. This position is NOT 100% remote and we do not
pay for relocation services.Salaried exempt compensation
$75K-$120K/year commensurate with experience. Eligible for a raise
and/or bonus during annual review based on job performance.
