Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Mainframe Engineer to manage and
support various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 5-8 engineers while remaining hands-on
Oversee the development, debugging, and maintenance of IBM-Z/OS
Mainframe applications
Potentially expand management responsibilities to include
additional teams
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in mainframe development, debugging, and
maintenance
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, MQ, VSAM, and related tools
Strong database design and development skills in IMS DB, DB2, and
SQL
Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions
Exposure to distributed technologies such as Java, Kafka, and REST
web services is preferred
